Late arrival of buses & poor customer services

I purchased a bus ticket to travel from Cape Town to Klerksdorp and when I purchased my ticket I was told by the lady who had been assisting me told me to arrive at the Cape Town bus terminus no later than 17:30 on the 13th of December 2013 & that the said bus would leave at 18:00 sharp.

As advised I arrived at the bus terminus way before 17:30. I had to wait a period of over 3 hours as the said bus only arrived at past 21:00. During the wait for the bus the service by the Translux staff members was very poor as we were not informed about the bus delay, the reasons of the delay & how long it would take. I only found out the bus was delayed when I went to the Translux office at the Cape Town bus terminus to enquire what was happening with the bus & I was just told that bus is delayed without any concrete information from the staff members regarding why the bus was late or how long the delay was. I am very concerned as this is not the first time I use the services of Translux & there has never been an incident where the bus has arrived on time. From my perspective there seems to be a policy at Translux that their buses will always be atleast an hour late
