Poor service from Checkers and Translux

I purchased a bus ticket to travel up to East London by means of City to City and coming back on Translux the weekend of the 19th of April. I was contacted at 12:30 the day of my departure that the buses were cancelled because of the national bus strike. I was told to go the offices of the bus company to get a refund. They informed everyone that they would only be refunding through EFT and made copies of everything and took the original tickets. I'm still waiting for the money to be refunded by the company. I then read in today's newspapers that we now had to go to where we purchased the ticket (in my case at the Computicket/Money Market counter at Checkers in Greenacres) in order to get my money refunded. I went to Checkers, only to have them tell me that they know nothing about this arrangement and they can't do anything without the original tickets.

I'm so frustrated and disgusted with the service of both Translux/City to City and Checkers with how I've being treated. I want my money back without anymore nonsense from either business.
