On Friday, 15 November, my fiance and I arrived at the check-in for our flight to Durban shortly after it closed. The lady at the check-in desk refused to re-open the gates. We were later informed by the Kulula Customer Service representative that the gates were re-opened for customers checking in after us and only closed ~20 minutes prior to take-off. Kulula have yet to explain why we were not allowed to check-in but other passengers arriving after us were allowed. I have tried to call the customer complaints number (011 921 0111) but no-one answers, despite it being during office hours. I emailed a complaint that day but am still awaiting a response (11 days later). Hopefully I will now receive a response
