Bad attitude made us miss our flight

I arrived at the Kulula check in counter 118 at 9:55 on 27/01/2014 for a 10:35 flight. Check in closes 30 minutes prior to departure - therefore the check in counter was OPEN and should've been able to receive passengers and luggage for this flight. I was greeted with "You do realise you should arrive at the airport an hour before your flight". What a greeting! From this, the lady complained about our oversized luggage, then wanted us to pay an additional R750.00 and then just said that we would not make the flight and will have to go and buy another ticket. Just like that. I am furious at how we were spoken to and how this lady dealt with us. She really is not a good brand contact point for Kulula. Her obstructive, rude and stroppy attitude cost us another plane ticket as well as made our trip 9 hours long with an 11 month old. The next flight we could get on was a BA flight (which apparently has the same rules and regulations as Kulula) allowed us on with absolutely NO problems with our oversized luggage and we did not have to pay anything extra. This is unacceptable Kulula - your staff member made us miss our flight. We were at check-in within YOUR stipulated time frame.
