On board a flight from Cape Town MN104 at 14h35 to JHB to board an international flight to Germany, in the midst of my excitement & carrying a backpack, travel pillow, jacket etc, I had forgotten my sling bag under the seat in front of me, the air hostess thanked me & bid me farewell, I had barely walked 100m before realizing my error & ran back to get my bag, the security staff handed me my bag & I was beyond relieved until I remembered that this JHB & crime anywhere in South Africa is likely, I opened my bag to find my wallet right at the top of the bag, not in the zip I had placed it in, all compartments opened, Rands & Euro's notes & coins completely emptied (EUR550 & R500) to which, no surprise here, the staff denied taking or seeing someone else help themselves. You see all passengers as targets to rip off & from? My international flight was boarding at 18:30 on the other end of the airport, I ran, tears running down my face as I was reminded of the country, city I was in and I would like to thank the Kulula staff for starting my holiday on such a cheerful note, I hope that money was donated to charity, that is why you from your passengers right? Utterly disgusted
