Highly upset!!!

On the 3rd of September 2013 I was due to fly from Cape Town International airport to O.R Tambo International at 09H10. I paid online for over weight luggage as I work out of the country. I checked in and went through the boarding gates on time. There was no final calls made pertaining to me, advising me that they were waiting for me. I therefore missed my flight and reclaimed my luggage. Proceeding back to Kulula to find out if they could help me with a second flight as I had an important International flight, where Kulula was not in anyway helpful or willing to make arrangements. SAA managed to help me and went beyond my expectations helping by checking in all my luggage all the way from Cape Town to my International destination. I find it unfair that a "professional" airline can be so incompetent. In scenarios such as this I would appreciate my money back or at least compensation for my overweight luggage that never travelled on the aircraft.
