R3400 to change a flight?? Ridiculous

I can't believe that South African Airlines want to charge R3400 to change a flight. Its not cancelling a flight, just changing the flight a day earlier. From Ghana there is ONLY one flight a day, not every hour. Can't believe that one of our biggest airlines don't respond to complaints, guess SAA is out the question for future flights, what a pity...
