Tickets for children @ only 75%... NOT!!!

I telephonically booked flights for my 5 year old daughter from EL to JHB (incl return) and was told that tickets for minors only cost 75% of the normal price. This turned out to be incorrect!!! Well, booking was made, and confirmed the next day, then a sponsored payment was made and I received the confirmation e-mail... on which I noticed normal prices were charged!

This morning, after being on the line 20-30mins (in total with two SAA departments) the correct information was supplied that child discounts do not apply to the SAVER options - they should have told me this when I first phoned to make the booking!

Anyway, who in their right mind would opt for any of the other flight options as SAA's prices are quite ridiculous.
