My family booked flights from DXB to SA (SAA operated by Emirates).@ the airport they failed to find infant booking, despite having a ticket for him. This was resolved by EK, who said that SAA staff always fail to attach the infant booking to the adult booking. Arriving in JHB en route to PLZ he was again missing from the booking. Then we were in CPT & had to change a flight to JHB for medical reasons it took 3-4 days and multiple calls to the most useless call center I have ever encountered. Staff & even supervisors promising to call back but never did. We were then told to change 2 adults local flights, 2 child flights & 1 infant it would be R21000! Seemed crazy as new tickets would cost about 1/3 of that price. Eventually when common sense prevailed it suddenly became R1500. CC details, a 62 min call & later receiving confirmation tickets we thought it was sorted. We were wrong. Arriving at CT airport informed our booking had actually not been done and it took a further 2 & 1/2 hrs & 2 missed flights to resolve. Then flying back to DXB infant again missing & we had to go to SAA desk to resolve. We checked in 3 mins before closing. SAA made our trip a nightmare, never again. James
