I booked 2 return airline tickets from Lanseria (joburg) to King Shaka (Durban) and the booking was made online. The total cost of the tickets was R2 951.00 After making the booking I realised that I had made an error on the return date. I made the booking at 9pm so I called their offices first thing the next morning to rectify the error. I was told that to correct the error I had to pay an amount of R1 322.00. This amount is is in fact the full price of 2 airline tickets. I was told that if you make an error, you pay the full price of the ticket you made an error on and that this is their company policy. Even though I tried to explain to the consultant that I was not changing my booking becasue my plans had changed but because I had made an error on the date selection on the website and had called within a period of 24 hours to rectify the error as the error cannot be rectified online. I explained that the airline had not suffered any prejudice due to my error and that to have to simply purchase new tickets was daylight. She refused and as a result I had to pay for a new set of tickets which I believe is extremely unfair to me as a consumer. is this even inline with the CPA
