I MADE AN ONLINE RESERVATION WITH KULULA ON 29/07/2013 FOR MY MOTHER TO FLY TO JOHANNESBURG FOR TWO WEEKS (12/08/2013 RETURNING 23/08/2013).

I CALLED TODAY 05/08/2013, A WEEK BEFORE THE FLIGHT, TO MAKE A CANCELLATION BUT HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT I WILL FORFEIT 100% OF MY TICKET AMOUNT . THE TICKETS AMOUNTED TO JUST UNDER R2000.00.

THE ONLY TIME ONE CAN MAKE A LEGITIMATE CANCELLATION, WITH A REFUND OPTION IS IF THEY ARE HOSPITALISED, PER THE TICKET CONDITIONS I SIGNED TO WHEN I PURCHASED THE TICKET AT THE END OF DOING MY ONLINE BOOKING. THESE ARE NOT SENT TO YOU WITH THE ITENERARY OR FLIGHT CONFIRMATION SMS OR EMAIL (FOR OBVOUS REASONS)!

IT IS TO BE NOTED THAT AT THE TIME OF BOOKING, ONLY THE FLIGHTS SELECTED WERE AN OPTION, UNLIKE SAA, WHICH HAS VARIOUS AIRFARE OPTIONS AND TICKETING RULES PER FLIGHT, AVAILABLE AT DIFFERENT PRICES, E.G SAVER, ETC.

WHAT SHOCKS ME THE MOST IS THAT DESPITE BEING TOLD I WILL LOSE 100% OF MY BOOKING SHOULD I CANCEL, I AM STILL UNABLE TO GET AN ''OPEN TICKET'' WHICH MY MOTHER CAN USE AT ANY OTHER TIME, BUT I HAVE TO COMMIT TO DATES NOW BEFORE THE 12TH. THIS WILL BE DONE AT AN EXTRA COST OF R340!
