More and more charges, despite promises!!!

When I booked my flight I asked the sales consultant if it would be flexible for me to change my connecting flight as we have not applied for UK visas yet and accommodation was not arranged either. As you know to apply for a visa you need flight details and to book accommodation you have to pay deposit, so that is why I asked the question about flexibility concerning the flight changes. The flight details given to me was HEATHROW ARRIVAL 06:50 on the 7th of JUNE, DEPARTING HEATHROW to JFK on 8th of JUNE 21:00. I was happy with this as we were trying to arrange for UK visas to visit friends in London, but I explained to the consultant this was not a definite decision yet that is why I am asking if I would be able to change my flight easily with no charge. He assured me that there will be no charges as long as I do these changes a week before the date in question. I even phoned back the same day and OFFERED to pay the extra costs concerning visa denial and liquidation and changing flights, etc. He assured me that it was not necessary. NOW I HAVE TO PAY EXTRA AND the supervisor says that I was not told there will be no charges. LIARS! I REFUSE TO PAY THAT MONEY! KEEP YOUR PROMISES!
