On the 7/03/2013 i requested an upgrade to the broadband lite package. I received an Sms from MTN on the 08/03/2013 stating "Y'ello you have been successfully upgraded. Your next upgrade date is now 07/03/2015. Kind regards MTNSP"

Having received this message i understood that i had been upgraded and proceeded to use the internet without care, after all i was now "uncapped" however when the bill arrived that month the charged me for the broadband lite package and an additional R965 for data usage!!! I have tried to deal with their customer services department and the billing/accounts department but to no avail. Lots of promises about how my priority has been increased etc etc. I am still waiting for the document that will show where the data was used to be emailed to me.

While i am waiting for their billing department to find the problem, my internet does not work. I can only wonder if i will be compensated for this annoyance.

The worst part of it all is that I KNOW that MTN does give about me or my complaint. If they cared in the least they would've at least kept me in the loop. All that i will receive is a standardized response and yet another worthless promise.
