I have been trying to migrate my data contract to an MTN Uncapped Lite, due to the high costs of data usage with my phone. I know about the throttling and I am fine with it, as I'll use it for terminal services when I am not at the office and not for downloading large amounts of data. Over the course of a month I can easily use 15GB of data in such a manner and the offers that MTN has for that is ridiculously expensive. Today I wasted 2 hours of my time as the call center assured me that they still offer the uncapped lite package (I asked the guy to double check and he was extremely sure that they do still offer it), but when I got to the store the guy checked his form after trying to sign me up and found that the Uncapped Lite is no longer offered to new subscribers. He cannot tell me why or how, and he tried selling me a 5GB contract instead, telling me that its the best he can do, at almost double the price of the Uncapped Lite...

Now I will just move to 8ta, they can offer me a month to month contract that includes 15GB of data, for around the same price as the MTN Uncapped Lite. Sorry MTN, you are moving backwards in the world. You lost a loyal customer of 7 years today. Cya.
