My ADSL line at home has been losing connection every 2nd day or so since end of March 2013. I have now logged 7 calls (and about to log number 8) in the last 30 days for Telkom to fix the line/service properly. If I've had between 5-7 days service from it, that would be plenty! Each time, I get an SMS to tell me the line is fixed and subsequently find out I have no connectivity.

I've phoned the call centre 20 times and when asking for a supervisor, they are either not available, or they will "call me back" (which they never do). Calls are closed by technicians without phoning to check if the service has actually been restored. I went to the Telkom Shop in Clearwater Mall to escalate and all I received was a blank stare and a referral back to the 10210 call centre.

Trying to escalate the matter is near impossible as each one directs me back to a call centre. It's become and endless loop of frustration. BUT... there is one thing that works without fail... the Telkom billing system. Despite the calls I've logged and issues I've had, I received my bill on time and in full!
