I logged a fault on my land and ADSL line on 7 January. It took Telkom 2 weeks to send out a technician. I had to make almost daily calls to the call centre to follow up on the complaint and eventually to escalate the call. Every call is on average 20 minutes. With no land line I have to use your cellphone. On 17 January they came to the house and assured my lady that the line was fixed.

In the afternoon I called again because my ADSL line was intermittent and the land line was down. The call centre operator assured me the fault is in hand with the service department and what more must he tell me. If not just call again. Really... So in frustration I asked to speak to his supervisor. Guess what he put me on hold and did not get back to me.

The next morning the fault was closed.
Since then my land line has been up and down and up and down. Problem resolved, I think not...
What now Mr Call Centre Operator. Another 20 min call to Telkom on my cell phone.

After 25 minutes on my cell phone to the call centre this morning to reopen the fault I gave up.
