No internet from 5:30pm till 12:30am for 8 months

Our internet stops working around 5:30pm, and only starts working again at 12:30am. This has been going on everyday, for the past 8 months. We have no internet at all on the weekends (Saturday or Sunday).

I have called Telkom and complained as much as I can, with no resolution. They did eventually send someone here, but he did not speak English very well, so he was not able to understand what the issue was. He "tested the copper lines", said they were "OK", and left. Other than testing the copper lines, he wasn't able to help me, or give me any information on what to do next. He just got in his car and left.

He came in the morning, but the issue does not start until 5:30pm, which is after hours for Telkom.

We have been using a Vodacom USB dongle everyday after 5:30pm (and the weekends) for internet, but it is getting very expensive for us paying 2 companies for internet.

I am sometimes able to test the speed (when I can get the speedtest page to open), and it usually gives me a test result of around 0.15 Mbps. I pay Telkom for a 10 Mbps line!
