Telkom blames MWEB

On the 27th of December our internet service was not working. We reported this to the Call Centre. After some testing and once they heard that we are getting our Internet from MWEB, I was told that the problem was with MWEB. I phoned MWEB and they tested on their side, but they said that the line was faulty, the problem is with Telkom. This to-ing and fro-ing went on for days. We were then told that our Rooter may be faulty, I must have it tested. When I got to the Telkom Shop they said that they reached their Internet cap and could not test the rooter. I replaced the rooter never the less, because we had it for 4 years. Still the Internet did not work. I phoned daily and went to Telkom's offices 3 times. Everytime I was told it was MWEB. Finally on the 6th of January, a Technician phoned me to say that one of the boards "blew" and he fixed it. I told him that I was extremely unhappy about the service that I received. He said that he new and that the technicians often complain about the way the Call Centres test the lines. I asked it if would help if I put up a complaint on Hello Peter. He said that that would not help, because Telkom "does not even look at Hello Peter"!
