I am a small business owner in Centurion. My cellphone is my life because all my clients and potential future clients contact me daily on my cellphone. For that reason I have the top package for which I pay R 1500 monthly. This morning I realised that I could not receive incoming calls or sms's, only emails etc. Phoned at 0900 and spoke to a consultant at the call centre who informed me that they were working on the problem. Phoned again at 1100, still working on the problem. All the while no one can reach me, only via email and my landline, but I am not at the office the whole day. Phone again at 1500, still working on the problem. For me it is absurd to think that through MTN I could not connect with my clients for a full day. Stay away from MTN if you can, Cell C seems a far better offer. O yes, and check the automated response from them in a few days time... Very sorry for the inconvenience caused blah blah blah, you could NEVER give me back my day that was lost through your service!!!
