I have just purchased a new Z10 Blackberry on the 2 March on a Vodacom contract. This contract comes with a 167MB data bundle. I specifically logged online and purchased a further 500MB once off data bundle to ensure that I do not go over the limit on the 3 March at 16.45pm. On the 10 March it said my data bundle has been depleted. On the 20 March 8am, I received a sms that unusually high usage has been detected on my cellular number R4370.38 please contact 082155 for further enquires. What??? I called them immediately and logged an enquiry. Asked them to turn off my data!! I now have a bill of R5400 of data usage!!
It took them 14 days and they say I have used that on my email data usage! I only sent one email via WIFI during that period which contained pictures on the 18th March. That's not true as the only one email I sent, It went through. This is impossible as I always connect to wifi at home and at work to browse internet and even in that space of time I would have used max 4 MB for browsing internet. They cant tell me where this usage has exactly gone. My other cell 9360 only used 16MB a week of data usage with the same features and emails. I want exact proof!
