Vodacom wont return my phone

I left my phone at vodacom Hemmingways for a software upgrade and I am yet to get it back. its been a week now when I went to fetch my phone on wednesday (27 March) I was told the system was offline and therefore I could not be given a courtesy phone as those phones are kept at a repair centre where my cellphone is also having a software upgrade done. This was already a return job and I am yet to get my phone back.

I did not understand the thing about the system being offline. But leaving me without a phone for this long is ridiculous.
