Faulty phone and them refusing to replace it

In April 2013 I took my phone to Vodacom Customer Care Menlyn because it watch freezing and switching off then not switching on until you remove the battery approx 5 to 8 times. They took the phone and did a software upgrade. July 2013 it started doing the same thing again, i took it back to them and again they did a software upgrade not even 2 weeks later the same issue then i took it back and told them i do not want a software upgrade they must give me a new phone this one is faulty i was told they would only give me a refurbished phone. So it got sent away again only to have another software upgrade. I was told no take it if it does it again we will escalate it and within a week it was doing the same thing again i took the phone back the beginning of september 2013 and got it back again with yet another software upgrade. Today i went to collect my phone and it was sent for yet another software upgrade. I waited over an hour to be helped no one was able to resolve the issue i was told to buy a new battery which i did in July and and after much complaining i was told leave the phone here we will send it back on monday. Vodacom should give me a brand new phone for all this rubbish.
