2nd time I have waited 4 wks for phone replacement

Autopage is legendarily poor in service, by my own bitter experience (this means you, Sea Point branch). My phone was in early March. I reported it to Autopage, who took six days (2x normal wait) to produce the code I had to take to the SAPS, who lost it. I got a case number three days later. I wrote an email with all supporting docs for insurance and sent it to Autopage: no response, ever. I dropped by on the off-chance that I needed to sign something, and it turns out I did. That was on the 17th of March. From that day to this, no phone calls from them. No email responses. They have listened to my entire story (twice) with sympathy and outrage at the call centre, and that is as far as it goes. I still have no phone, but my emails simply do not seem to be read; my complaints are an utter waste of time. The company seems to keep few internal records. Today, Lindi from the call centre suggested that *I* should call around to the Sea Point branch and Autopage's insurers and follow up, as if I was part of the management structure of Autopage. I am telling everyone who will listen to stay the away from these people (can't wait for contract to end).
