I've attempted on numerous occasions to contact their Call Centre and no one will answer my call. I had my colleagues contact their Service Providers, Virgin, Vodacom and Cell C. Within seconds of their call they were connected to an agent willing to assist them. My colleagues sat with me, with call on speaker as we were left to an automated voice that would remind us that their agents were busy. I attempted to contact them again, this time I was left waiting for a response for over an hour. I am truly appalled at the customer service or lack thereof that us being provided by MTN. I don't expect them to do much for me as something as mundane as answering a telephone call seems like a mammoth task for them. Mammoth is putting it lightly, in fact I am being a little too kind with my description as they still haven't answered my call. Waiting for them to answer the telephone is equivalent to waiting for the Second Return of. Vodacom, Virgin, Cell C and newcomer 8ta are setting a better example of what customer service should be. I have contacted my family and encouraged everyone on MTN to change the networks before they too get over.
