We had changed our building insurance company from Ooba to Virgin due to lower premiums. What we didn't expect was lower service levels. We had a flash flood resulting in damages to our property. We called Virgin, and Ilona contacted me back. Two assessor's came out and took pictures of damages. One of our damage claims was rejected, which we were fine with as it was due to our neighbours building site. However we still were waiting for two more outcomes. I called Ilona back three separate occasions, with colleagues promising she would return my call. To date, she did not contact me back. I now managed to get hold of her, and she blamed the assessor. I have now been waiting a total of 3.5 weeks for this claim to be sorted out. It is disgusting to say the least. We are definitely changing building insurance service providers.
