I upgraded my blackberry to an iphone, R469 pm package. I am being billed R615 pm instead. I have been to the MTN store and was advised that this was my 2nd month and I had pro rata charges. it has now been 5 months and I am still billed R615. My statement still makes refrence to blackberry charges! i have tired calling the call centre on several occasions and have been on hold for 16 minutes. Today there is a message saying the call centre is closed and to try again later. I also applied for a 3G card, when I picked my card up I didn't think to check it and went away for business only to find out I wasn't given a SIM card. I applied for the R159 2GB package but was put on the R99 1GB package instead and when I tired to change it I was told I can't.
I have also been into the store and have called the call centre regarding having my statements emailed to me... and every time I am assured that this has been changed but I have not received my statement via email once! I am unable to claim back from work as the mtn active statement doesn't differentiate betweent the phone and 3G. I have had the same mtn number since 2002 and cannot believe the pathetic service I have been receiving
