My husband and I followed all the correct procedures to have a signal booster installed by Vodacom on the recommendation of others who had received one. A consultant visited us, tested and took our details. We then heard nothing more. Eventually after many calls and poor response, we were told that our contract is not large enough for a booster. When my husband replied that it was not possible to have a bigger contract with such poor signal, he was told that this was policy and nothing could be done. We are still contacted by Vodacom for promotions etc. none of which makes sense for poor cell reception. We had huge problems trying to obtain other types of mobile repeaters and are still experiencing difficulties. There are people with smaller contracts with other service providers who have been supplied with boosters so perhaps we should try that route.
