I have been reporting poor signal at my premises. A technician was sent out to investigate the matter. The report was that a booster was needed and this will help greatly with the service, however vodacom has requested me to supply and install my own booster. I am upset with this level of treatment as there are other customers in my neighborhood that have been supplied with a booster at vodacom's cost. It is unfair that vodacom shows preference to certain customers. I was also told that due to the very bad signal in the area, a project is on the way to install a new tower, however vodacom is unable to tell me when this will materialize as the project is still in the planning phase. This to me suggests incompetency as I am expected to wait indefinitely for a tower to service me, in the meantime I am paying for a contract that I cannot fully utilize. I am shocked that Vodacom expects me to incur costs and install a booster when providing sufficient and reliable signal is their responsibility. I am very disappointed with this service provider and makes me question if I in future would choose this network.
