I refer to my previous complaint about the poor signal in the Horizon View area and Vodacom's reference EC-ZHNB-3OAGQ1.

I was hoping the installation of a signal booster would put an end to the poor service available in the Horizon View Area but this has not been the case. The technician who installed the booster told me that although the booster would boost available the available signal in the area, the problem in fact was congestion and that because of this the signal would still fluctuate. This makes sense. Boosting nothing will result in nothing!

Vodacom, short of spending money to provide a dedicated tower with increased capacity, can clearly do no more and I am left with no other option at this point but to ask that I be relieved of my contractual obligations with Vodacom at no cost to myself in order for me to port my numbers to a service provider who is able to provide the necessary level of service. This has been an ongoing problem since 14 July 2011 and from what I have been told, there are still no plans to address the issue of congestion in the area..
