I recently upgraded my phone and upgraded my data bundle from 500Meg to 1 GIG. This month I got billed R1748.39 for packet switched data calls!!! That is insane!!! The call centre tells me the upgrade was not done and the 500Meg was also cancelled in the process!!! I WILL NOT carry the responsibility for this as I did what I had to do when I upgraded. I would expect the person handling my ugrade to be competent enough to do what she had to do. Palesa handled my call at the call centre ref no 97978085. Her response was that I should wait 7-10 days to get feedback. With that amount my account was debited for how should I feed my kids the next 7-10 days??? This is blatant!!! They will probably tell me they cannot pay the money into my bank account and they will credit my account!!! I refuse to accept that. money was taken wrongfully from my account and I insist that it is paid back into my bank account. My family can not eat a credit. I WILL have the debit order reversed if it is not resolved by tomorrow< and dont tell me it will affect my credit record, that is utter nonsense. Someone in management can pay me back and lets see if they wait 7-10 days for a refund.
