PACKET SWITCHED DATA CALLS

Telecommunications

On Tuesday the 16 July 2013 a debit order from MTN for a amount of R759, 09 was taken from my Banking account. After checking my statement I was surprise to see that MTN billed me for Packet switched data calls. My contract with MTN BROADBAND 2 GIGABYTE is R149, 00 per month for 2 years, and had been for the duration of the contract. My average usage/spent is between R150, 00 a month. I had reported this at the MTN office at Canal Walk (USD REQ: 2421617) where they checked and could not find any reason for this packet switched data calls being added to my account. I was informed that they will inform the Billing/Account Department to clear up this situation and that they will get back to me. They did, with another statement for R475, 75 for packet switched data calls. My question to MTN, why would I, after using this broadband, suddenly need this data calls. I have never been over my usage for the duration of this contract. Why must I pay for your mistake. This is unacceptable from a company like MTN.
