Staff at Telkom need to learn people skills

I was at the Telkom store in Midrand today. I can't seem to understand why, when you require a service the person helping you does not give you a response immediately. Instead The lady helping me goes to another lady and starts talking about my account and what i was in the store for, loud enough for me as well as others in the store to hear. They both then proceed to a back room. The lady then reappears only to tell me that i couldn't be helped. Unfortunately i didnt bother to ask names as the staff there already seemed disinterested in what they were doing. I am neither bitter nor unhappy that i could not be helped. I just don't appreciate behavior that was displayed today. The staff there need to be taught some interpersonal skills. I live in Midrand but most times i opt to drive to the branch in Fourways as the staff there are friendly and helpful.
