Telkom, What poor service!

When we decided to get a Telkom ADSL line we were told by the sales person that the line would be installed by the following Wednesday. Wednesday came and went with no news from anyone. After numerous attempts at trying to call the store telephonically-with no luck- my husband and I eventually went back into the store to find out what the problem was. We were told that there were no lines in the area and that we would have to wait until a line became avaliable.

It has now been 2 months, and still no word from Telkom!

We happened to be at Gateway and once again tried to get some information from the store. There were 4 people in the que waiting for the 2 sales people that were helping Telkom Adsl customers. The Telkom Mobile agents weren't able to help us and one was sitting just looking at the que. There was some other staff member sitting on a laptop on Facebook! After sitting for about 20minutes a Tekom staff member gets up from one of the Telkom Adsl desks and strolls away! Why was a staff member served before any of the people in the que? We eventually walked out!

If Telkom can't help us with a line soon, we will be taking our business elsewhere!
