I upgraded my wife's contract on my account on the 9January 2013 at vodacom4Y. The consultant convinced me to by the upgrade phone that is accommodating the new band widt named LTE. I had to pay more for this phone. Trevor the sales man was rather convincing and took the upgrade with the new LTE capabilities. Two days later my wife's phone (Samsung SIII) started giving error messages. The message on the phone said "sim not register". She called 111 from her phone number 0829264707 and explained to the consultant the issue as it was happening frequently. The consultant advised that we need to go to any Vodacom shop and have the sim changed because the setup was not done correctly.
I am now told that the LTE phone does not work with an Top up, and is paying for an LTE phone and Vodacom4Y is not prepared to downgrade and just give me a SIII phone
