Could not upgrade due to incorrect contract detail

On 8/3/2013 a call center agent of Vodacom called me to upgrade my contract and offer me this deal because of my longstanding and loyal relationship with Vodacom, My contract would reduce from R145 to R79 per month for 24 months. On request from myself that what happens when I need to go and get a new phone, I was advised that no problem, I can go in and upgrade the phone. I will still pay this R79 because this is an offer and promotion to Vodacoms GOOD customers. Now going into Game at Cresta, Caroline assisted me, to find that my contract was upgraded with no phone and I am not due for a new phone!!! Spoke to several people at Vodacom, Tsakane at 12:39 was referred to Anet and she referred me to Charlene, who advised me that she cannot rectify/cancel this contract, she needs to lodge an investigation, which will take approximately 72 hours. On request that I need this to be sorted out by close of business I was told this would not be possible. Through out the conversation I could hardly hear her and had to say to everytime. I, AS A CUSTOMER OF VODACOM WAS HUMILIATED IN STANDING IN THE SHOP WANTING TO UPGRADE AND TO FIND THAT A CONSULTANT HAS OVER THE PHONE TO ME!!!
