Help with returning and replacing a received Phone

I called yesterday requesting to change a phone (Lumia 610) I received last week and swap it for an SIII Mini. This after my child's contract was up for upgrade and they didn't have the phone in stock for a while. I explained that the phone is still sealed never opened it and since this contract is for my daughter she doesn't like the Nokia but the Samsung instead, I am told I am supposed to pay about >R3000 for the contract as I am stuck with it and cannot change/swap it for a Samsung. I have been a customer for years and this is the first time I am not treated to my satisfaction and hate to be treated like the phone was a donation, whereas I am paying for it. I did not open the phone and I don't want to give my daughter who's birthday is 14th Jun a phone that she is not going to be happy with but I will be paying for the next coming 24 months. I requested to deliver the phone if they cannot collect it or for them to charge me the collection fee, as long as it is changed/swapped for a Samsung SIII Mini. I am begging Vodacom to relook into this and help me. I promise the phone and microSim are sill packaged as received because I was keeping this until my daughter's birthday date
