Renews contract but does not deliever cellphone

I upgraded my contract through the MTN Corporate call centre on 8 February 2013. A very helpful Celvin assisted me. A week later the phone was delivered however it was the wrong phone, I had ordered white and they had delivered black. I called the call centre and advised them of this. They said they needed to listen to the recording to confirm. Celvin called me back to confirm that the recording showed I had ordered a WHITE phone. An agent called on 15th February that the wrong phone would be collected within 48 hours.

Since this time I have been calling the call centre daily, including asking to speak to a supervisor. Supervisors are never available and I have also left messages for one of them to call me back, which they have not done in the last 2 weeks.

I have finally gotten someone to call me (still no supervisor) and they say that I ordered a black one. How is it possible that we are now back at square one. They say they will need to listen to the recording again.

I can only assume that MTN is trying to make this as difficult as possible so that I accept the phone that I did not order. A complete contravention of the Consumer Prospection Act.
