Over the last month I have tried to install a telephone, fax and ADSL line for my practice. I am not working their yet... so I had to arrange with the current secretary, and Telkom for convenient times in between patient appointments. This turned out to be impossible! Appointment "dates" are set by the call centre, a new date gets send to you via SMS, another date is set via a telephone conversation... Just for the technician to pitch up on another day! If you phone the call centre they will inform you that it was your fault. So after three weeks they came, I told the technician to install all the lines at the reception desk, Just for him to install the fax/ ADSL line right in the middle of the patients' waiting area! So here we go again... I now need an indoor transfer. Arranged via the call centre for the 19 Feb. SMS for the 15th. Call on the 14th... Explained that it needs to be on the 19th due to renovations. And then they pitch the 18th- document "renovations" and leave as I was "unavailable" So now I am at four calls to the call centre with no new date, different information every time and a ADSL line in the waiting room...
