Consistently attrocious "service" for ADSL app

My journey down this rabbit hole commenced early April (within the first few days) when I applied for a ADSL line with Telkom. I have made well over 30 calls to the 10210 call centres and specific individuals in Telkom since, without joy. After applying, I eventually got an installation date and I took leave in order to be available for the install. On the date, in the latter parts of the afternoon, I called the centre as I had not heard from the technician. I was informed that he was on his way, but only to install the telephone line (mildly bizarre) as the two installs had been logged as separate applications. They cancelled this install and I eventually got a second date, again made arrangements to be home, but when the technician came I was informed that there was a problem with one of the ports and he could not install the adsl. Despite this, I note that I have been informed that I am being billed for the phone line (which I don't need or want). After a gallon of calls without any information, over a month later, I am now informed (in contradiction of what I had been told by the techs) that I am awaiting a DSLAM install. I still have no date or guess which I asked for!
