I am having endless problems with Vodacom and their network problems. I upgraded my phone to an Iphone 5 and have had endless problems with Vodacom. I have to switch my phone on and off at least 5 times per day as the network just disappears and leaves me with a NO SIGNAL. At times when i do have service I have little or no data service and switch between 3G, Edge and nothing. I have been into a vodastore and they told me it is because my LTE was not activated. I still have the same problem with it activated. I phoned customer care at least 5 times over the last week and was told that it was because my LTE was acivated and i need to deactivate it. I have done that and reset my network settings and still have problems. I looked on the internet and see that this is a major problem throughout the country with Vodacom and Iphone 5. Can someone at Vodacom please let me know what is going on and inform the customer care as well. I am sick of dealing with a new person everytime i phone and get told that i must have bad signal in my area. Vodacom sort your problems out and inform your customers and staff. With the exorbitant cell phone costs in this country i expect some service.
