Do not get any LTE/4G device on the Vodacom Netwo

Telecommunications

On Friday the 1st of February I received my Samsung S3 LTE version from Vodacom. Between their repair shop & help line, nobody could get the phone to get service on the network. Eventually after googling the problem I found that many people are having problems getting their LTE/4G phones activated on the network due to poor training & not understanding that the new generation products need the LTE activated on the persons line. It is a no cost service but it needs to be activated for your phone to register on the network. Now, here comes the further crunch, Vodacom on the iPhone 5 are dropping the phones back to 3G as they are having issues with the iPhone 5 on their 4G network so when you go in to complain they change the settings on the phone to only work on the 3G network. My new S3 LTE doesnt seem to be as badly effected but I have now had two days where the phone gets kicked of the network due to LTE/4G. My point is, surely Vodacom should be taken to task, if you are supplying devices such as the iPhone 5 and the Samsung S3 LTE, they should work trouble free on your network. My brothers iPhone 5 only works on your network with LTE disabled and my S3 LTE works intermittently.
