I have had Telkom "blues for about 2 years now. For the 10 years before that, I was a really satisfied customer. Over the last two years they have been to my residence about 8 times. Originally i lived in another unit in the complex, and then moved. Have been to their service centre 3 times, in last years, and don't know how many times I have spoken to their call centre people to change my unit number. This for starters seems an impossible task, just to get them to change the unit number.
My phone is ok for maybe 6 weeks -2 months, and then gets noises, and then disappears. When they have come to my complex, if they work on my phone, my neighbours lose their line, and vice versa. In the last year, apparently there have been huge cable issues in my area in the heart of Sandton. Apparently this was fixed. But the problems persist. At this point, after the latest technician arrived (within 36 hours of lodging the call). Have been told there are more cable problems, and this is in the complex. When called supervisors office, the person who answered the phone, after many attempts, seemed more concerned about how I got his number than anything else. Time to visit Neo tel. Going no where fast.
