Called the upgr dep on 21/01/14, was assisted in a helpful manner by agent and assumed that everything will be actioned as discussed telephonically. The upgr was "successfully" done and I received the handset on 31/1/14.Sim swap was doen that evening and didn't experience any problems (as we have wifi at home). I soon discovered if I am not in a wifi zone i'm not able to use WhatsApp, bbm&internet. I phoned numerous times over the weekend and each time was given a new solution to my problem to no avail, nothing worked. Last night I was told my contract bundle was not upgraded and this was confirmed by Gugu this morning, she was very helpful. She explained that the agent only did my package migration on 1/2/14&not on 21/1/14 like he was supposed to, this now leaves me without any data services until 1/3/14 which is unacceptab;e as this is not my error but the agent who didnt do his job! I was also told by the agent that bbm services will be free and during all the calls made to vodacom that this is not the case with the new bb phones. I need this matter solved asap as I have no use of my phone except for making calls! I will be going to the ombudsman if this is not sorted!
