Well,

Once again another complaint for Telkom. Why would you guys upgrade line speeds across the country instead of upgrading the EXCHANGES. This makes absolutely no sense. It is the same as saying everyone can go through Etolls for free and not expect congestion afterwards. I am really dissapointed in the lack of common sense of the PEOPLE in charge of Telkom and working for them. My current latency is between 400 and 500 to CAPE TOWN (60KM from Welington), and YES I have used the telkom guest account to make sure its not MWEB that is the issue. My friend who has telkom as a ISP in Wellington is experiencing the same stupid issue. Stop bragging about the almost 100mbs connection you guys are expecting to bring to S.A and fix the infrastructure (THE EXCHANGES) first and then brag about customer service rather than IMAGINARY line speeds. I am not even going to ask you guys to fix the latency as WE (me and you, Telkom) already know what is the issue, the issue being the exchange is overloaded even more now with the free line speed upgrades. I have had my weekly rant about you guys. So time to soldier on.
