Struggling with latency issues on my ADSL line since 27/12/2013. I reported the problem on the 27th and sent them a bunch of reports ie: trace routes etc. After struggling through Saturday speaking to numerous support agents via twitter and email I was told that the problems where due to a power surge on the Telkom exchange. Its now a week later and I'm still having issues. Been struggling every single day this past week where it came down to a technician called Kyle telling me that there is nothing that he can do as the fault is caused by congestion and that I must wait indefinitely until telkom resolves the issue

01) I'm paying them to manage my 2mbps line. Its their job to sort out these things not mine
02) I have had this issue in the past with Mweb but they managed to get Telkom to route my number via a different exchange to resolve the latency issues.
03) Afrihost expects me to be satisfied with the pathetic speeds I'm getting (on which planet do you guys think any client will be satisfied with that kind of feedback).
04) There is no sense of ownership when it comes to the support calls. It seems that they would rather pass the buck to Telkom instead of finding a solution
