I have reported this fault twice 557CWK141113, 104CWK191113 both faults have been closed with a message saying that the issue has been solved - but this is not true.
My issue is that I have a perfect line in the mornings but very slow speeds (latency) in the afternoons and evening. I work during the day, so the evening is when I spend time on the internet.
No one seems to be able to assist or say what is really going on. Most times Telkom is saying the fault must with my line or my distance from the exchange. They even had the gall to say that their advertising says that they provide a service up to a 2 meg line... even when I tell them I have a latency worst than a dial up modem
So what I have found out is the following:
1. On the do gaming forum a lot of us are reporting the same issue and submitting our TRACERT
2. I have registered with a different ISP (axxess) and my line is fine
So the issue is not with me but with Telkom... I am now left with looking for a new ISP and still see all these adverts about the advantage of having a single solution with Telkom - what rubbish!!!
