In October 2012 we decide to change ISPs, which required Telkom to migrate the line. They interpreted the order to migrate the line, as cancel the line. We then fought for a month to get it back (being told a new each time). We were told we ordered the cancellation, even though they can't find the proof.

When we were finally given a line it was incredibly bad. Everyday after 6pm and all-day on weekends, we experience latencies of 3000ms to our exchange, and download speeds of 2kbs (on a 1mb line). This is NOT the ISP's fault, as we have tested multiple times. We opened a ticket with Telkom on 5 December 2012, with no response or improvement. We have phoned them everyday since 2 Feb 2013 with regard to this as we feel we have been more than patient. The calls don't get answered, and when they do we are given unsatisfactory responses. We have been told that they can see our ticket is open, but nothing as been done. We were also told they can see an issue with the exchange. I honestly don't care for these excuses, and there has been no attempt by Telkom to fix it. We are paying for a service we are not receiving, while they ignore us. My next step is to take this matter to ICASA
