As a 'reseller' I cancelled a business ADSL UNCAPPED account for one of my customers at 07:05 AM on 1st November so that November would run it's course and the account would close on the 30th of November.

Unfortunately my cancellation for-end-of-November was disallowed with cancellation being effective as of 1st January (was also referred to cancellation T's and C's.) Cancellations closed by midnight 31st October!!

Someone from WebAfrica phoned to inform me that I need to motivate my cancellation for end-November to management, which I did and it was still declined. Response from WebAfrica below.

Please note that we have escalated this to management on our side and can confirm that we are not able to put the service cancellation in place as requested.

The cancellation request only came through this morning 1 November 2013 and our cut off for cancellation to take affect from 30 November 2013 would have been midnight 31 October 2013.

I know that WebAfrica is right but... no real reason (except for the obvious) as to why this end-of-November cancellation was disallowed, no reason from 'management'.
