Cancellation of telkom line

I have been since November 2013, been trying to cancel our flat in Cape Town Telkom land line, the number being - 021 6912862. My son has vacated the Cape Town flat since November 2013, and we are still paying the monthly charges which amounts to R223.90. I have called their cancellation lines on a daily basis since November 2013, but no one answers my calls. If I am lucky and some one answers, they provide me with a reference no. Up to present date the line has not been cancelled. I have been to several Telkom shops at the various malls and I have been told that they cannot assist me, as I have to call Telkom and cancel my Telkom line. I am at my wits end and am very disappointed at Telkom and their customer service.
