Failure to cancel contract

During the month of December 2012 my contract was set to expire. I visit the Cell C shop in the Picbel Parkade Mall in Cape Town. After explaining that I would like to cancel my contract and terminate the number, I was asked to complete a form and provide my ID. This was done and the consultant assured me that the forms was sent to Cell C for termination. After being billed again at the end of January, I returned to the shop and requested an explanation. I was then informed that the contract cancellation request was never sent through and that this needs to be done again and I will have to wait another month before the contract will be cancelled. This will therefore result in me being billed again! I now have to pay for the incompatince of an employee of the service provider and this is unacceptable!
